DESCRIPTION
Welcome to A Day At the Compound. This event is an Airsoft event focused as a Less-Than-Milsim style event for Airsofters of all skill levels.
The day will be structured with a series of Miniaturized Milsims, small bite-sized versions of our longer form and more involved events. Each MiniSim will take place on different areas of the field, involve drastically different objectives, and will utilize different styles of play and pacing. Each MiniSim will run for a few hours after which play will pause shortly to allow everyone to recharge, eat food, and prepare for the next scenario.
Currently projected to have 5 major scenarios play out over the course of the day. Exact timings of scenarios will be solidified closer to event day, but expect a 20 minute break between scenarios, and a single lunch break just slightly over one hour long.
If you are interested in trying out an OP4S Event, curious if Milsims are right for you, or simply want to see the field before attending any major events later in the year? This is a good opportunity to get your feet wet at the compound and get yourself warmed up for the rest of the season.
On our registration page you can also indicate if you are interested in trying out a command position for this event, whether you want to lead or simply help with radios. You do not have to do this for the whole event, you can choose to only help out for one or two scenarios and return to playing the game. We believe this is a good opportunity to let people try out command positions in our community before committing to a larger, more serious event.
We are currently planned to have the event from run 11AM on Saturday until 1AM in the morning on Sunday.
Event Registration is now open.
TEAMS
This event will follow our MILITARY VS CIVILIAN style. The military team will be wearing camouflage pants and a shirt, and the civilian team will be wearing civilian clothes or solid colors. The military team cannot wear a solid color of any type (ie, no coyote soft shells) as this would be clothing the civilian team is using.
It is your responsibility to sign up for the team you have the correct uniform requirement for.
REMINDER: Your plate carrier, boots, gloves, backpack and helmet are NOT included in your uniform. Only your pants and your shirt/jacket.
Examples of Uniforming:
