BLACKOUT 25
EMP Milsim Event
15 Hour Event, September 20, 2025
@ The Compound
Price: $80.00
Price: $80.00
A Global EMP has fried all your electronics. Nothing survived. All your lights, all your radios, all your optics? Fried. Gone. You have made do with whatever scraps you have managed to find still working.
Your town is about to be subject to an Incursion. Word has reached you that some sort of military force has been arriving claiming to be peacekeepers and to help rebuild, only to end up pillaging them for their supplies. Whether these rumors are true or not does not matter - you will make sure to protect what is yours. If they are looking to pick a fight, you will be ready to hit back.
Blackout 25 is a 15 Hour Event running from Noon on Sept. 20 until 3AM on Sept. 21. As part of your registration all participants will be issued one very low quality flashlight, as well as issued a sanctioned Kill Light / Red Light for use at night time - both of which are yours to keep after the game ends. Registration is now live.
BLACKOUT 25 is a Post-EMP event. The only thing you are able to bring into the game with you are non-electronic items. This means iron sights, basic scopes, and little else. Anything that takes a battery in this simulation is dead. You are back to basics without the luxuries of modern military warfare.
Please note; items that take a battery in the real world but do not take any batteries in the world of the simulation, such as your Airsoft gun itself or Tracer unit, are permitted. You don't put AA batteries in an AR15 or your tracer rounds in real life. Only things that would require batteries to use are dead. Items that can be used with the batteries removed, such as scopes, are allowed.
Every participant at NO NODS will be issued some sort of flashlight at registration. Whether this is a high quality light, a lantern of some sort, or barely functional pen light? Who knows. What you get is what you get, and how you use is up to you.
All players will be issued a Red Kill Light they can bring with them into the game. This light can be used as a kill marker to inform other players you are dead. This marker is yours to keep after the event.
BLACKOUT 25 will feature asymmetric balance and missions as a component of the event. At the beginning of the event Civilians will have access to the entire town in the center of the field with additional medical supplies at their disposal. The military team will have access to 3 Radios as well as a Vehicle at the beginning of the game. Both teams will have the opportunity to access more resources throughout the game.
OPERATION BLACKOUT will be using a Camouflage vs Civilian uniforming ruleset. The Military team will be using camouflage pattern uniforms shirt and pants. The Civilian team can use any style of civilian clothing, from jeans to plaid to solid black or solid green.
BLACKOUT 25 will feature 12 mission objectives, provided to all players in a Mission Set List issued to them a week before the event.
