Summary

OPERATION BLACKOUT is an EMP Event. Your electronics are gone. Your flashlights, your red dots, your radios, your night vision, your cellphone? Long since gone. You are back to basics in the purest form - your gun and that is about it.

OPERATION BLACKOUT will follow a normal OP4S Mission Set List. If you have played at our previous games, you know what this is. All the events missions are given to players ahead of time - when, where and what to do is all spelled out. What matters is how you do it. There are no breaks or stoppages planned. 

This is a Military vs Civilian event. OPERATION BLACKOUT will begin at Noon on  November 30, 2024 and run until 2AM.

Description

OPERATION BLACKOUT is a further twist on the No Nods event. Your equipment has been toast and the only thing you have left is whatever doesn't take any batteries. This means iron sights, basic scopes, and little else. How you adapt to this situation and how you figure out what to shoot in the dark? All part of the game. Anything that takes a battery in the world of the simulation is dead.

Note; items that take a battery in the real world but in the world of the simulation, such as your Airsoft gun itself, or Tracer unit, are permitted. You don't put AA batteries in an AR15 or your tracer rounds in real life. 

Every participant at NO NODS will be issued some sort of flashlight. Whether this is a high quality light, a lantern of some sort, or barely functional pen light? Who knows. What you get is what you get, and how you use it in the event is up to you.

Players will be permitted to bring a single red LED light or glowstick for use as a kill light into the field. Anything else is prohibited for use during the game. Back to basics fellas.

OPERATION BLACKOUT will be using a Camouflage vs Civilian uniform restriction. The Military team will be using camouflage pattern uniforms The Civilian team can use any style of civilian clothing, from jeans to plaid to solid black or solid green. 

This event is limited to 100 participants.

Tourniquets and Saline in Play
5 Minute Bleedout Time -  No  Respawn timer once returned  to CP.
Pyrotechnic Grenades permitted
No Technology permitted, other than items issued by Game Control

Command Posts in Play, Mobile Respawns MAY be in play for specific missions (Listed on Mission Set Document)

Please make sure the password for the payment is AIRSOFT 

and include your full name in the message of the transfer (We need to know who you are paying for!)

If you are applying a credit from a previous OP4S Event and need to pay the difference between the previous event and this one, please note it in the EMT Transfer details

REFUND POLICY

Our Refund Policy for 2024 is in effect. Our return policy is no questions asked; if you cannot come anymore? It's fine - life comes first and you don't need to explain it to us. 

For any time between now and up to 2 weeks before the event, you will receive a 100% refund on your admission fee for this event. After October 25, 2024 we won't be able to offer a cash refund. However you will receive a full value credit on the admission fee to any future OP4S event. This credit has no expiration date or restrictions - so you can put the money to No Nods, Blackout or whatever game of ours you want at any field we host at. You are also permitted to transfer your ticket to another person if you so choose. 

You can send your refund request to the same email you sent your EMT payment to. Please give us 72 hours to respond to your request.
